Call for Artists
The mission of C Art Gallery is to use visual art to incite dialogue about cultural differences, foster understanding and encourage financial support of minority artists.
The gallery is part of the Artspace Hiawatha Village Arts Project funded in part by the City of Seattle.
The 800 foot Gallery will open its doors in May 2008 at 855 Hiawatha Place in Seattle with a group show “Culture on Canvas” and rotate exhibits every 4-6 weeks with an emphasis on exploring the various cultures represented in the Pacific Northwest, West Coast and the world.
C Art Gallery invites visual artists to submit samples for exhibit consideration.
For exhibit consideration please submit the following information to c.artgallery@gmail.com:
1. A maximum of ten (10) .jpg files that represent the quality and depth of your work and speak to the mission of C Art Gallery. Include: Name of piece, medium, size and retail value.
2. Artist statement.
3. Artist biography including a list of shows and exhibits over the past 5 years.
4. Current contact information and website.
All submissions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Artists will be informed if they are selected to participate in a show at which time an artist agreement will be sent for review and consideration.
